For those of you who might want to know a little more about me...I left the nest at an early age.  I   was hatched in a small town in North Central Alabama by the name of Hartselle.  Not long after, my family and I migrated to Florence, AL, where I've spent the majority of my life, except for the times when I felt the need to spread my wings.

I've had a few different professions over the years, from meat cutter to railroad switchman/foreman to the most fun job anyone could have...radio!  I started out in the Shoals area, and from there flew around to Huntsville, AL, to Saginaw, MI, to Little Rock, AR, to Ripley, MS, and now here in the river hamlet of Savannah, TN!  I've been truly fortunate to have met some of the biggest names in country music, but being totally honest, the most fun I have is when I'm out and get to meet you!

I'm a father of one beautiful and intelligent daughter (got all that from her mother, of course!) who is an RN at an area hospital and who has blessed me with two awesome grandsons!

I'm a pretty happy bird to be here in K-93 Country with folks that get my sense of humor and love country music like I do.  And if you have any questions that I haven't answered here, call me on the Fun Lines, and I'll do my best to get you caught up...but of course, I'll have to put it on YOUR bill!  (LOL...sorry, just another bad 'bird' joke!)
